Once you have set up Teams notifications, found in the Teams desktop apps settings (these define how the notifications appear to you) the next step is to decide from which channels you want to notifications.
For every channel you want to define the notifications for, click '...' next to each channel's name, click 'Channel notifications' and select the level of notifications that you want:
- All activity
- You will be notified about posts, replies and mentions.
- You will be notified only about replies to your posts and when personalle mentioned.
For channels important to you, "All activity" is recommended. For channels that don't concern you at all, "Off" is recommended.
Set up the Custom notification options if you want something between the two previous settings.
